From Seaside Town to Golden Summit
Five charts a day. The rest of the price is hidden in the fog: buy, sell or wait, and when the fog lifts you see what you read right and what you read wrong.

Courses and mentorship packages run from $500 to $5,000, and most are one-way video. You don't learn to swim by watching videos, and in trading the pool is real money: the most expensive school in the world.
I opened my first trade on a hunch. Didn't even look at the wick. If Nazım had seen it, he'd have said “check the wick first”; now he does.
The only thing missing: risk-free, daily, measured practice.
No lecture videos here. Every day, five charts land in front of you; you decide, and if you're wrong, you see why.
You get a candlestick chart. Its right side is hidden in fog: you can't see the future.
Buy, wait or sell. The stop is 1R; the exit is the close of the last candle.
The candles are revealed, and you see right on the chart why your decision worked or didn't. Your rating updates with every puzzle.
Price came back to a support it bounced from before and held with lower wicks. What's your call?
This puzzle doesn't affect your rating; it's the same screen as in the app.

The morning ferry drops you off in Seaside Town. Nazım, the lighthouse keeper, teaches you to read price; Sultan, the auctioneer, shows you how price is born from haggling. Lessons are short: a story, a note, a few questions and a decision on the chart.

The four camps of Seaside Town. The camps of Crystal Pass, Storm Ridge, Glacier Valley and Golden Summit are ready too: five zones, twenty camps.
“You're looking at the summit. Everyone does. I'm Nazım; I keep the lighthouse up on that hill.”
“Anchovies! Opening the crate at 100! Do I hear 102? 104! Who'll give me 106?”
“From now on I'll check the wicks first. Promise.”
“Inside, there's one rule: don't believe what you see right away. Test it first.”
“I buy a thousand crates. What happens if I walk into the market and say 'I'm buying a thousand crates'?”
“I'm Bora; I've been logging the weather on this ridge for thirty years.”
“Everyone's expecting 3.1. What comes in may be different, and that gap is what moves the price.”
“One rule here: before you take a step, know what you lose if you fall.”
“Your pack is your account. What's inside has to last you to the summit. The question: how much of it do you spend in a day?”
“I'm Doruk, the summit lookout. One rule: look from above first, then take the step.”
Arena
In a shadow match you play against the recorded decisions of someone who already played these charts; in a live match, against someone who is in the Arena right now. Your Arena rating is kept separate and never touches your daily rating.

FAQ
VerTrader is a trading education app that teaches chart reading as a game. Every day everyone solves the same five realistic candlestick chart puzzles: the rest of the price is hidden, you decide to buy, sell or wait, then the chart opens and your decision is scored. With a rating that works like a chess rating, you climb five zones from Seaside Town to Golden Summit.
Twenty camps across five zones: candlestick charts and candlestick patterns, support and resistance, trend; breakout and retest, false breakouts, chart patterns and liquidity; the economic calendar, news candles and earnings gaps; risk, stops, position sizing, drawdown and FOMO; and in the last zone, multiple timeframes, liquidity traps and market psychology.
No. VerTrader is an education and practice app. The charts and explanations in the puzzles are made only to teach technical analysis; they contain no trading signals, portfolio recommendations or investment advice.
No. The app never connects to an exchange or brokerage account, and no real orders are sent. It's built entirely on simulation and puzzles.
Yes. Everyone starts in Seaside Town, with the most basic topics: hammer, doji, engulfing, support and resistance. As your rating rises, new zones open on their own.
The Explorer plan is free: five puzzles a day with a rating, the four camps of Seaside Town, the Arena (shadow and live matches, weekly league), free practice, and all three explanations of one puzzle a day. Summit opens every camp from Crystal Pass to Golden Summit as your rating reaches it, and all three explanations of every puzzle. Summit's first seven days are free.
With an adapted version of Glicko-2, the rating system used in chess. Every puzzle has a difficulty rating, and you play against it: a correct decision raises your rating, a wrong one lowers it, and solving a hard puzzle earns more than solving an easy one. A decision made less than 3 seconds after the chart opens is recorded and keeps your streak going, but doesn't change your rating; your rating comes from decisions made by reading the chart.
Every 7-day streak earns you an ember. On a day you don't play, an ember burns and your campfire stays lit: that day doesn't add to the streak, but the streak doesn't break. Explorer holds at most one ember, Summit up to two. If you miss a day with no ember left, the streak starts again with your next puzzle.
The Summit subscription is sold through Whop; your card details never reach VerTrader. You cancel with one click on the orders page of your Whop account; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged.
