VerTrader

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This policy explains how the VerTrader mobile app and the vertrader.com website process personal data. By using the app, you accept the processing practices described here.

1. What data we collect

  • Account information: your email address and display name. Required to create your account and to carry your progress across devices. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and the address of your profile photo; your Google password never reaches us.
  • Game and progress data: the puzzles you solve, the answers you give, your answer times, your ratings (overall and by category), your level, your XP, your daily streak, the zone you are in and your tournament results.
  • Usage events: events such as opening the app, starting/completing a puzzle, streak updates, joining a tournament and viewing the premium screen. These events are reviewed in aggregate to improve the product.
  • Where you came from and partner code: where you first arrived from (for example a video link, an ad or another website) and, if you came through a creator's link, that creator's code are saved to your account if you sign up during that visit; a partner code you enter yourself on the Summit page is saved to your account too. Nothing is stored in your browser and no cookies are used. It is used only to see which channels work, to apply the code's discount and to pay the creator's commission.
  • Invites: if you sign up through a friend's invite link, your account is linked to theirs. This link is used only for the invite reward (an explanation ticket); it isn't shown to anyone else or shared.
  • Technical information: platform (iOS/Android), app version and crash reports.
  • Subscription status: whether your subscription is active and its end date.

What we don't collect: The app explicitly blocks camera and microphone permissions. It does not collect location data. It does not connect to any exchange, bank or brokerage account, and it does not see or store payment card details.

2. Why we process data

  • To create your account and keep you logged in.
  • To calculate your rating and offer you puzzles and zones at a suitable difficulty.
  • To build leaderboards and tournament rankings.
  • To send a daily reminder notification, if you have allowed it.
  • To detect errors and improve the app.
  • To prevent abuse and cheating attempts.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. To run the service, we use only the following infrastructure providers:

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Data is stored on servers in Ireland (European Union).
  • Vercel — website hosting, server processing and visitor counts. The server region is Ireland (Dublin); page files are served from a global content delivery network. Visitor counting (Web Analytics) uses no cookies and does not identify you: only which pages were opened, country, device type and browser are counted in aggregate.
  • Resend — sending account emails (verification, password reset). The sending region is Ireland (European Union).
  • Whop — payment and management of the Summit subscription. Your card details are processed directly by Whop and never reach us; to link the subscription to your account, your account ID and email address (and, if your account has a partner code, that creator's Whop username) are sent to Whop. Headquartered in the United States.
  • Google — authentication if you choose to sign in with Google. The Google button on the sign-in screen is loaded from Google's servers (Google sees your browser's IP address while it loads); headquartered in the United States.
  • Sentry — crash and error reporting.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription purchases and management. Your payment information is processed directly by these stores and is not passed on to us.
  • Expo — app distribution and updates.

We may also need to share data with competent public authorities when a legal obligation arises.

International transfers

These providers' servers and headquarters are outside Turkey (European Union and United States). Your account details (email, username, language preference), your game progress and technical records (IP address, session and error logs) are transferred to these providers so the service can work.

These transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards in Article 9 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698: standard contracts published by the Personal Data Protection Board are concluded with the providers and notified to the Authority. Signing and notification of these contracts is in progress.

4. Visibility on leaderboards

When you take part in the Arena and tournaments, your display name and rating are visible to other users. Your email address is never shown to other users. You can change your display name in Settings.

5. How long your data is kept

It is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the personal data linked to it is permanently deleted; anonymized aggregate statistics used for product analysis may continue to be kept.

6. Your rights

Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and related legislation, you have the right to access your data, to ask for it to be corrected, to request its deletion and to object to its processing.

7. Children's privacy

VerTrader is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from this age group.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When there is a significant change, we will let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.

9. Contact

You can send your questions to baris.sokmel1907@gmail.com.
